Organize the sidebar
Control category and article order from Elmapi without code changes.
The docs sidebar is built from published categories and articles. Editors control structure with Sort Order fields.
Category order
On each Doc Categories entry, set Sort Order. Lower numbers appear first. Leave gaps (0, 10, 20) if you expect to insert sections later.
Article order
On each Doc Articles entry:
- Relate the article to one category.
- Set Sort Order for that category only.
- Publish.
Previous and Next links follow this same order.
Drafts and visibility
Unpublished articles do not appear in the public sidebar. Publish when the draft is ready for readers.
